Sugarland's deposition disputes former testimony, oh dear!

Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland has finally given her deposition regarding the fatal collapse of the stage at the Indiana State Fairground.  The Indianapolis Star reports it has obtained part of her deposition and her comments differ from another witness account, making me fear this could get even worse than it already is.

The Star says Nettles testified that the country duo was never told fair officials had asked to delay the concert because of an approaching storm and that the band probably would have postponed the show if they had been asked. State Fair Executive Director Cindy Hoye testified that she asked Sugarland's tour manager to delay the show but was told that the band refused.

Sugarland is at the top of their game and the stage collapse was a horrible disaster that has perhaps now turned to finger pointing and a series of lawsuits.

Stay tuned...

I doubt we will ever get the truth about this awful occurance. Clearly it should have been the State Fair execs decision instead of the bands. They (State Fair Execs) knew the weather conditions for their area and the wind speed was definitely a factor. The show should have been postponed til the storm was over or rescheduled. Was it worth the lives of innocent people to continue under the conditions of the weather?
