A magnetic situation...
I got a sweet little bracelet the other day. It's held together with two small magnets. I thought, how cool, I can put it on myself because the magnets naturally draw to a close when they're near each other.
Today I wore it for the first time.
When I opened the car door (I drive an old beater with plenty of metal on it), I stuck to the door. Prying my arm loose, I got in the car and drove to work, where I got stuck to the front door. There's plenty of metal in the elevator too, but I managed to free myself by the time I got to the third floor.
I did notice there's very little metal in the bathroom, guess all that shiny stuff is plastic?
Everything was okay while I got a little desk time in, but when I walked to the studio to take over from Barry, my arm stuck to the door! Then to the zipper on my purse and boy, better keep it away from my iPad, phone and computers! Magnets are bad for computers.
I think I'll just keep it where I put it: safely in my purse where it is presently clinging to the metal fastener on my wallet.
I imagine it will still be there when I get home.
