These are a few of my favorite....songs
Oh MUSIC! It has the power to hurt, to heal, to soothe, to get you riled up. Music is the key to happiness for me, just about everything I do is connected in some way to music.
Here at HI-99, we play a lot of new artists and right now I am loving some of this new music and thought I would share some of my favorites with you.
Have you heard the LoCash Cowboys' new single, Best Seat In The House? It's a tribute to Chris Lucas' father and it's a song that can bring me to tears. Check it out when you can and support the band by buying their music if you like it.
Then there's Gary Allan's new song, It Ain't The Whiskey, a tune that takes you to an AA meeting where the impaired and rejected lover insists it isn't the whiskey hurting him, it's his lost love. I could listen to this song over and over again.
It's climbing the charts pretty fast to call it new, but I also love Miranda's new offering All Kinds of Kinds. It's just a reflection of the truth in life and it's got a pleasing melody.
And Dierks Bentley's I Hold On? Melts me every time.
I'm also loving Lady Antebellum's Compass, has a good beat that drives it all the way home.
I'm sure I have left out a few, but those are the songs I could hear over and over again right now on HI-99. Is our taste the same or are you more a fan of the new, rock-and-rap infused music that seems to be more and more prevalent in modern country? As Miranda sings, it takes all kinds of kinds in this old world. ;-)
