Garth Brooks concert appearance on TV!

Garth Brooks is now part of the lineup of performers for “Teachers Rock,” a special, tribute concert celebrating teachers and education featuring some of the biggest names in music, film and sports. “Teachers Rock” honors America’s educators with personal recollections from pop, rock and urban music. The special, which will benefit several nonprofit organizations, will be broadcast from Nokia Theatre L.A. Live at 7pm Friday, Aug. 17th on CBS.

Could Garth Brooks finally be gearing up for a tour in the near future? It's been 12 years since Garth officially announced his retirement, giving up his life on the road for one at home with his three daughters. Over the past decade, and following the announcement of his five-year Las Vegas run at the Wynn hotel and casino, Garth has assured fans of his hope to return to touring once his youngest daughter graduates from high school. That means, those who never had the opportunity to see him perform live, or would like to again, only have two more years to wait. I'm starting a new Twitter hash tag, #Garthcomebacktour2014
