And on this day in 1993, Patty Loveless' "Blame It On Your Heart" went to the top of the chart.

"Blame It On Your Heart" was released as a single in 1993. It was included on her first album with Sony/Epic Records, Only What I Feel, her sixth career album. The single was released in April 1993. It was the first single released from the album. A cover version by Deborah Allen was featured prominently in the 1993 film The Thing Called Love.

Patty Loveless (Patty Lee Ramey was born January 4, 1957 in Pikeville Kentucky) has been one of the most popular female country singers since the 1990s, she rose to stardom thanks to her blend of honky tonk and emotive country ballads.

She released her self - the title's debut in 1987 and released "Mountain Soul II on 29 September 2009.

After throat surgery to repair her vocal cords, she released the album was just what I feel about 1993 to the best reviews of her career and won several awards...
