Stay Classy! Ron Burgundy To Write A Tell-All Book!
If you are like me and LOVED Anchorman and cannot wait for Anchorman 2, then this will probably excite you- Ron Burgundy is writing a tell-all book!
Here is more from USA Today:
Ron Burgundy is ready to tell all. That is, Ron Burgundy the fictional character played by Will Ferrell in the 2004 hit comedy Anchorman. Crown Archetype, an imprint of Random House, will publish the fake journalist's memoir, titled LET ME OFF AT THE TOP!: My Classy Life and Other Musings, on Nov. 19.
The classiest man in San Diego says in a release that he will be sharing "never-before-told stories of his childhood" and what led him to become TV's "greatest living news anchor." He'll also delve into his romantic life, and share stories about his dog, Baxter, and his news crew, known as the Action 4 News Team.
The book will hit shelves right around the time the film sequel, Anchorman: The Legend Continues, hits theaters on Dec. 20. The film sees all of Burgundy's main crew reunited, including Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner. According to the Internet Movie Database, a slew of other famous faces star in the flick, among them Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Meagan Good, Harrison Ford and many more. Like the first film, the second was written by Ferrell and Adam McKay, who also directed both movies.
The memoir also comes on the heels of news that Burgundy and company will be given an exhibit at the Newseum, the Washington, D.C., museum devoted to the media. The exhibit opens on Nov. 14.
Wonder if they can release the book as a audio book? haha!
