I was born Greencastle, In. and grew up in Terre Haute. I've Worked at HI-99/WTHI for 1 7 years (since 1990) and have been in radio since 1982. During my career in radio I have been at every station in town once and in some cases ( like here at WTHI) twice! My hobbies include, collecting Matchbox and Hotwheels cars . I would collect real cars if they would only cost as much and Hotwheels and Matchbox cars. I am married to Duree who has been teaching 3rd grade at Hoosier Prairie Elementary here in Vigo county for the past 19 years. My parents, Dennis and Kathleen, and my brother Nick and his family all live here in town. If I was not in radio, I would probably have to be working for a living and I would really hate that.
Music is also kind of a hobby as well as a profession. Not only do I enjoy the Country that we play here but I am also a fan of allot of 60's, 70's and 80's pop tunes. Since I play for weddings and other parties on weekends it helps to like all kinds of music. As weird as it may sound I have an appreciation for Jazz, New Age and some Classical. Bet you didn't know that!

I also have an interest in politics and am usually ready for a quick and friendly debate about the issues of the day. I do lean to the conservative side.

I do tend to read a fair amount when I can find the time. I mainly read a couple of news magazines every week and squeeze in a few books that are in the biography, history and sci-fi categories.
