Did you hear what pop star Christina Aguilera told contestant RaeLynn on 'The Voice' the other night?  "You make me want to sing country," Christina told RaeLynn.....Wait a minute Xtina...it makes you want to do WHAT?  Are we going to hear a country version of 'Lady Marmalade' or 'Genie in a Bottle'?  Probably not, however there is possibly a duet in the works with her co-coach on 'The Voice' Blake Shelton!

Christina recently tweeted to Blake after a performance of Blake's 'Hillbilly Bone'...... "@blakeshelton now we need to team up for a country duet Blake!! I'm down!! Let's go!" tweeted Christina in response.

It may seem that on the show, atleast to me, that Blake likes to take several shots at Christina though the show.  When in all actuality he has immense respect for the blonde beauty.  He recently said Christina is one of the "greatest vocalists of all time" and has even praised his competitor's "Voice" strategy.

Turns out Blake is just as stoked to sing with Christina....."That's an understatement to say that I'm 'open' to singing a duet with Christina Aguilera," Blake tells Stereotude, "more like I would pay her, I would beg her, I'll wash her car, I'll clean her house, babysit her kid ..."

It really is just the natural course for Blake and Christina to collaborate, as Christina has already been featured on tracks from Adam Levine's 'Maroon 5' and Cee-Lo Green.
