This afternoon our promotions director here at the station walks in and asks me if I'm familiar w/the 'The Flag Man' well I wasn't, but I am now!  If you're wondering who I'm talking about just check out this video.....

Larry Eckhardt is known as 'The Flag Man' and his passion in life is to make sure that our service men and women are remembered when they pay the ultimate price serving overseas. 

We were notified this afternoon that Larry 'The Flag Man' Eckhardt plans to be in Brazil to honor our fallen hero Specialist Arronn Fields, 27, who was killed last week while serving with the Indiana Air National Guard in Afghanistan.  Specialist Fields is from Knightsville, Indiana.

Moore Funeral Home who was been entrusted with his arrangements reached out to us in hope to find volunteers to aid in efforts of Larry Eckhardt to line the procession route with American Flags from the Brazil Church of Nazarene to Clearview Cemetery.  Volunteers should meet at 2:00pm Sunday, June 3rd at Northview High School.
