Country music outlaw David Allan Coe was injured in a traffic accident involving a semi earlier this (Tuesday) morning in Ocala, Florida. 

The Ocala Police Department report that Coe's 2011 Chevrolet Suburban ran a stop light at approximately 1:30 Tuesday morning, a semi smashed into the SUV sending it into a nerby parking lot.  The semi then overturned & crashed into a light pole causing diesel fuel and fresh produce to spill onto the roadway.

David along with the driver and passenger of the semi were taken to a local hospital, however, no injuries appear to be life threatening.
