The return of another '90s sitcom?!
First it was a spinoff of Boy Meets World called Girl Meets World that is making its return, now could Full House be following suit?
Original creator Jeff Franklin recently told the Newport Gazette "Last month I was asked by ABC and [Warner Bros.] to write a new show for the Full House characters." It has been reported that the show would be largely centered around D.J. and Stephanie Tanner, most likely raising their own families, played by actresses who would be of the correct age.
However, it has also been reported that many of the original cast members are even interested in returning should the sequel make it to production.
No dates have been discussed for a return; most of this is very premature!
Way back in 1994, when Full House was cancelled, it was still insanely popular, drawing in nearly 11 millions viewers an episode and found even more success in syndication.
You can still find Full House airing in 11 countries, including the U.S. At the height of their syndication popularity, it was said that there was ALWAYS an episode airing somewhere in the world.
