The Music City Minute
A Kenny Chesney fan shares her concert experience
A friend of a friend by the name of Kimberly Somers (pictured on the right) who I met a few years ago in Cincinnati, Ohio (her home) and still follow on Instagram and Facebook attended the one Kenny Chesney show scheduled for this year over the weekend! It was a free show on the beach and when the RSVP period opened, wristbands for the fenced-in beach area of Kenny’s Flora-Bama-Jama were gone in less than five minutes! The concert took place at the Flora-Bama Lounge, a bar with a beach on Perdido Key, where Orange Beach and Gulf Shores meet on the border of Alabama and Florida. Kenny played for over 40,000 fans over the weekend in his solo concert. Fans came from as far away as Oregon, Ohio, South Carolina, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Arizona. Kenny's 32-song set lasted over two and a half hours. The concert filmed by Shaun Silva for a TV special that airs this fall. Bikinis, shorts, tank tops, sunburns and ball caps, the dress code was casual and the mood looked to be great!

Kenny’s upcoming album, The Big Revival is set for release on September 23rd.
