The Terre Haute Police Department is handing out applications for employment as a police officer. The applications will be handed out at the Terre Haute Police Department at 1211 Wabash Avenue starting February 1st thru February 29th 2012, from 8am to 4pm. A person that is interested in the profession can also go to the Terre Haute Police Departments web site http://TERREHAUTE.IN.GOV to download the application packet. The applications must be turned in by February 29th 2012 at 4pm, in person at the Police Department to SGT. Brentlinger of the Juvenile Division. To be eligible for employment, you must be 21 years of age and less than 36 years of age, have a High School Diploma or G.E.D., be a U.S. Citizen, and not been convicted of any felonies.
