The Historic Mansfield Roller Mill will participate in Mansfield’s Mushroom Festival on April 28 and 29, 2012. The Historic Mansfield Roller Mill will be open both days of the festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On that Saturday and Sunday, visitors to the festival can buy or sell bags of mushrooms at a mushroom auction, and join a mushroom hunt. Registration for the mushroom hunt is at Fox’s Overlook from 8-10 a.m. both days and costs $8. Sunday features a car show and free oldies music. Visitors are also invited to explore the historic facility's three stories, which contain original 1880s milling equipment. Admission to the Mill is FREE! The mill gift shop will have a variety of unique items for sale, including corn meal that was ground at the mill on water-powered buhr stones.
