Spinning 102 Nov. 16 | 9 a.m.–5 p.m. White Violet Center for Eco-Justice This workshop is designed for those who have basic spinning skills and are interested in branching out to work with a variety of fibers and plying techniques. You do not have to be an expert spinner to register. It’s a great chance to refresh your spinning skills, learn from other spinners and just have fun! A grab bag of different fibers and spinning wheels will be provided, though you are encouraged to bring your own wheels and fiber if you wish. White Violet Center’s alpaca roving will also be available for purchase. Housing is available; so please inquire if interested. Instructor Robin Edmundson is an award-winning fiber artist specializing in color. She has extensive experience teaching and lecturing on spinning, weaving, dyeing, color theory, and creativity. She was a recipient of an Indiana Artist Grant by the Indiana Arts Commission and her work has been featured in many fiber arts exhibitions and fine art/craft shows.
