Full Gospel Assembly of God will be having a Country Rhodes Fish Fry on Saturday, May 25th from 4-7 PM at the North Terre Haute Firehouse located on Park Avenue. Our Event is for " THE WINGS OF HOPE " will b held Saturday June 8th at Shawnne airport in Bloomfield In. This is a non profit organization that is trying to help raise money for Scholarships in Memory of 10 and 11 year old Nicholas Deckard and Joshua Merritt who Passed away 4 years ago in a Tragic accidental fire. A scholarship in both boys names will be handed out to a child in their graduating class. We also hand out mini Grants thruout the year to children in Gr. County to do extra Curricular activities that they might otherwise not be able to do with out our help. Our event will serve a lunch, have drinks, games, plenty of fun things for family fun and live music. We have many Autographed items from Nascar drivers, celebrities such as Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Duck Dynasty, Dr, Phil, and Paula Deen. Other items too numerous to mention will be available as well for a Silent Auction and or raffle. Reabilitated Birds will be released out in to the wild in Honor of Nick and Josh.No charge for the event but all donationas are greatley appreciated. Check us out on FB. Them One Guys Car Club is hosting our 2nd annual fundraiser car show on Saturday, June 8th 2013 in K-Mart parking lot at 4651 S. US HWY 41 in Terre Haute, IN 47802. All proceeds will be donated to Boy Scout Troop 504 to help them pay for summer camp and other needs. There will be a Silent Auction of many great items from 11am - 1:45pm, Troop 504 will have a free will donation concession stand and are hand making the awards to be given to the winner of each class. The winners of each class will be determined by the spectators' popular vote and there will also be a scouts choice award which will be determined by the popular vote of Boy Scouts of any troop who come to the car show with their BSA membership card or Class A shirt on. There will be a $10 fee for early bird registration or day of show fee of $15 to enter cars, trucks or motorcycles. Registration will begin at 9:00 am and continue through 11:00 am, Show and voting will begin at 11:00 am and continue until 2:00 pm. Awards presentation will follow promptly after 2:00 pm. Local heroes from the Terre Haute Police Department, Seelyville Police Department and the Indiana State Police are participating in the Warrior Dash, a 5 Kilometer obstacle course, benefitting St Jude Children's Research Hospital, on June 15th.

The officers are raising money and awareness for St. Jude in honor of fallen officer, Brent Long, and they need YOUR help!

Keep the ball rolling A bowling fundraiser to support Educational/Family Services (EFS) in West Terre Haute is set for Sunday, June 23 at 1pm at Terre Haute Bowling Center, 600 E. Springhill Drive in Terre Haute. Sign up as individuals or teams of six. The $15 per person fee gets you two games of bowling with shoe rental, drawings for door prizes, raffles and allows you to support literacy and education for people in the West Terre Haute area.
