PARIS, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – L & A Family Farms has expanded its business for the fall 2019 season to include taking over Pumpkin Works.
L & A Family Farms will now carry on the legacy of Pumpkin Works by offering the fall time favorites such as a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, bonfire areas and more.
They have a fun theme for the farm this year, “the Place to Bee”, to serve as a reminder as to how important bees are for agriculture.
It will be open Saturdays from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M. and Sundays from 12 to 6 P.M. (central time) through October 27th. It will also be open the Friday and Monday of Columbus Day weekend.
Admission is $10 per person with ages 3-5. 80+ is $5 per person. Children 2 and under are free.
L & A Family Farms will also have its famous sunflower maze open.
Brian Lau, president and co-owner of L & A Family Farms said “it’s important to continue the family-operated tradition since I previously worked for Paul Staley at Pumpkin Works before starting with L & A Family Farms, and since Pumpkin Works is where I found my inspiration for the agritourism industry.”
